What we are playing is a weekly column that appears every Sunday. Various staff members let the world know which games have had them hooked over the past week and which they’re looking forward to.

Ross Adams – Been jumping around my backlog in between playing more [easyazon-link asin=”B004FYEZMQ” locale=”us”]Mass Effect 3[/easyazon-link]. Trying to finish off [easyazon-link asin=”B003S2MXRA” locale=”us”]Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine[/easyazon-link], fun game mostly but it often does its best to irritate me. Also played [easyazon-link asin=”B0016C3260″ locale=”us”]Valkyria Chronicles[/easyazon-link] briefly, there’s way more to that game than I expected. A little overwhelming, looking forward to digging into it though.

Nick Santangelo – I didn’t do too much gaming this week, but I did find time for a few rounds of [easyazon-link asin=”B002BSA20M” locale=”us”]Halo Reach[/easyazon-link]. I also blew off the dust that had been accumulating on my PS3 since I finished Uncharted 3 and played some Journey. It’s a lovely game despite being ridiculously short.

Matt Liparota – After something like 10 hours over two days, I finally, finally finished my first playthrough of Mass Effect 3. Loved it, great game, didn’t even hate the ending. Other than that it was a pretty dry week for me; although with ME3 out of the way I plan to dive into my backlog a little bit to keep myself occupied (first on the docket: Dragon Age: Origins, which I never finished. Might as well keep the BioWare theme going).

Ryan Reynolds – My mainstay this week was Diabolical Pitch, which I’ve been playing for review. I also managed to fit in more Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. As a side note, I’ll be moving to our sister site, XboxKinectFans.com soon, so if you haven’t been over there to check it out yet, make sure you do so.

Christine Mitchell – I finished off my first playthrough of Mass Effect 3 but found it a bit disappointing compared with the previous instalments. I then finished my week by returning to [easyazon-link asin=”B001SH7YMG” locale=”us”]Red Dead Redemption’s[/easyazon-link] Undead Nightmare which I never completed at the time.

Steve Melton – Rather surprisingly I got a decent amount of gaming in considering having a newborn son. I’ve been playing LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars on my PSP at the hostpital, but prior to that I got some Star Wars Battlefront II and Need For Speed World in. He’s doing well but is seven weeks early, so looks like I’ll be doing lots of mobile gaming.

Mark Seymour – Stormed through Ninja Gaiden 3. Predictably horrendous.
