Undead Labs’ Class3 renamed State of Decay

Developer Undead Labs has renamed its currently in development XBLA and PC zombie-survival game State of Decay. First announced a smidgen over a year and a half ago, the game was previously known by the codename Class3. The Seattle-based studio actually revealed that it was working on a zombie title in August 2010, but it was not referred to as Class3 until shortly after Microsoft signed on as publisher early last year.

Things have been pretty quiet lately on the State of Decay front, with the only recent news being that the game’s co-op mode was axed. Today, however, the team has given gamers their first serious look at the title in action in the form of the above trailer. The only previous footage of Undead’s game was some off-screen “behind-the-scenes” stuff released back in January.
