Runic Games announced on Tuesday that Torchlight achieved the “highest day sales” ever for the game, even though it was already available on PC/Mac. The numbers weren’t announced however but the leaderboards show that there’s around 74, 000 players looting mines and stomping skeletons. Not to mention that PC sales have increased due to the release of its console brethren. This is extremely great news for such a great action RPG and hopefully will lead Torchlight II in the XBLA direction. Catch our review of the game later this week.
