Crimson Dragon

In an interview with Polygon, Yukio Futatsugi, the game director for the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Crimson Dragon, detailed a dragon rental feature. Yukio explained that players can register their leveled-up dragons to the leaderboards and any player could download them for additional aid. Demonstrating this concept with simple Kinect voice commands, helper dragons could be called in during the heat of battle to help turn the tide. Players whose dragons are utilized in this manner earn in-game credits and items to further improve their dragons. Details on how much it will cost to rent another dragon, as well as how long and how often helper dragons could be called, have not yet been released.

Crimson Dragon has been touted as the spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon Orta, an on-rails shooter for the original Xbox. Originally slated for release on the Xbox 360, Crimson Dragon will launch alongside the Xbox One on November 22nd, retailing for $19.99.
