Spelunky XBLA

Dying happens a lot in Spelunky, but up until now the game has caused some unfair deaths. The game’s first patch was released recently, and it sets out to improve gameplay and ensure all deaths are the result of deliberate design.

There’s a long list of bug fixes for single and multiplayer, including many that prevent odd occurrences that cause the game to crash. Some gameplay changes have also been made to make the game a bit more fair, including lowered shop prices, improved tools and adjustments to what can spawn in dark levels. The lengthy list of fixes can be found here, and the patch is available now to anyone who continues to brave the dark caves of Spelunky.
