Sega bringing nine playable games to PAX, one unannounced

Sega has announced it will bring nine titles to the Penny Arcade Expo (better known as PAX Prime) later this month – one of which has yet to be announced. All nine titles will be playable at the festival. Hit the jump for the games we know will be there, some of which include forthcoming XBLA titles.

  • The Cave
  • Hell Yeah! – Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
  • Jet Set Radio
  • NiGHTS into dreams
  • Sonic Adventure 2

The unannounced title is listed as a “digital title,” which might suggest another title headed for XBLA. Not much else is known about the title, th0ugh Sega did reveal that it’s a new IP. Anything else is pure speculation until PAX.

PAX, started in 2004 by Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, is a series of conventions that focus on gaming of all kinds – console, computer, tabletop, etc. The original convention in Seattle is still the biggest – thus “PAX Prime” – and is held from Aug. 31 – Sept. 2 this year.
