Namco Bandai and Lexis Numerique have announced that Red Johnson’s Chronicles – One Against All will be coming to XBLA, PSN, and PC. This release comes nearly a year after the original title, Red Johnson’s Chronicles, was released on PSN. The puzzle/adventure game is somewhere between Professor Layton and Dick Tracy, with a touch of dark humor. An even more appealing element to the game is that the story is expected to have 8-10 hours worth of gameplay.

The main character, Red Johnson, is an edgy detective who stops at nothing to solve a case. Players will need to use deep thought as well as tools provided by the game to investigate crime scenes and question witnesses. Many times the player will be put in the position that they will need to use the environment through point and click, using objects around to solve the puzzle. There will also be quick time events to add a shooting element to the game.

Olivier Comte, Senior Vice President, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S, said via press release: “We are proud to publish such an original game and support the talented development studio Lexis Numérique.” “We believe it is important to promote a variety of quality titles and Red Johnson’s Chronicles — One Against All is a unique game that will appeal to many players.”

Red Johnson’s Chronicles – One Against All will be available on XBLA, PSN, and PC in Mid-September. It is not yet known whether the original title will also be coming to XBLA or PC.
