Peggle 2 brings the utterly wacky style and addictive fun from the original game to the Xbox One. While our full review won’t be up for a couple more days (it was impossible to find multiplayer matches for us when we tried over the weekend), we did notice two major omissions. The game doesn’t have Colorblind Mode, making it virtually unplayable for anyone with color deficiencies, such as myself. The game also lacks leaderboards, killing the incentive to replay levels once they’re finished. We’ve reached out to Popcap to see if it has any intentions of patching in either feature down the road but have yet to receive a formal answer, but we will update when we do.

Peggle 2 is available now on the Xbox One for $12, which is a nice change of pace from digital prices that have been creeping upward on the new hardware. The game features 60 levels and challenges and five Peggle masters, each with multiple costumes and multiplayer. The game also boasts a very prominently displayed shopping cart icon that we assume will be for future DLC. If you’ve already taken the plunge and picked up the title let us know what you think in the comments. Our official review should be up later this week.
