Details on the multiplayer gameplay for upcoming Summer of Arcade release, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD have recently surfaced. Fans of the game’s PSOne days will be pleased to hear that Graffiti and Time Attack are two returning modes. For those new to the game, Graffiti unleashes skaters into an environment for a set amount of time, with the goal being to trick off various objects throughout the level. The player with the highest score on a ramp or rail for example, can “tag” it as their own. At the end of the round, the skater with the most domain wins. In Time Attack mode, players simply are tasked them with amassing the most points to win the round before the timer runs out.

Two new modes have also been added, the self explanatory Free Skate, where players can skate around together to their hearts content, and Big Head Elimination mode. In Big Head Elimination, heads will start to expand at the start of the round and players must perform tricks and flips to counter the bloat. If anyone’s head reaches 100% inflation, well you can guess what happens next. All multiplayer modes support up to 4 players and are online only (sorry splitscreen fans!). Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD launches on Xbox Live Arcade on July 18 for 1200 MSP.
