The award-winning space exploration game from Squad, Kerbal Space Program is finally making its big landing on the Xbox One today. First hitting the scene back in 2011, this game in which you design your spacecraft, launch it into orbit and then explore outer space continues to be popular years later.

Anyone that has played Kerbal can tell you that the hardest part of the game is actually getting off the launch pad without blowing up. If you’re lucky enough though to pull this off, once in deep space you can capture asteroids, mine resources and build space stations surrounding planets that you discover.

There are three game modes available in Kerbal, Sandbox, Science, and Career. Sandbox lets you play around with the spacecraft and build anything your heart desires. In scientific mode you can perform scientific experiments that will help you to level up the intelligence of your Kerbals, unlocking new technologies. Finally, career mode will let you live the life of a true astronaut. You won’t just fly the spacecraft, but you will also have to manage crew members, build your reputation and complete side contracts to earn money to fund your space center.

Kerbal Space Program is available now on the Xbox One via digital download for $39.99.
