Fill your stockings with cheap Xbox 360s this holiday season

360bundle

Need a 360 system in time for the holidays? Well, you’re in luck – Microsoft has confirmed that a recent $50 price drop on 4GB and 250GB systems at select retailers is a temporary promotion for the holiday season. A number of retailers – GameStop, Walmart, Amazon and others – are selling 4GB Kinect bundles and non-Kinect 250GB for $249 (down from $299) and 250GB Kinect bundles for $349 (down from $399).

Microsoft has also confirmed that the reduction also applies to promotional bundles as well – systems bundled with Kinect Sports, DisneyLand Adventures, Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do, Dance Central 2 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. It also appears that at least one limited edition console bundle will be discounted as well, as GameStop and Amazon are offering pre-orders of the upcoming Halo 4 bundle for $349, down from the suggested retail price of $399.
