Deadliest Warrior: The Game Beheading Its Way to XBLA

Have you ever wanted to go toe to toe with a Spartan? How about fisticuffing a Samurai and his katana? Unfortunately, it’s rather difficult to stumble across these opponents in your living room… until now. On July 14th, Pipeworks Software will be releasing Deadliest Warrior: The Game for the XBLA. Pipeworks past games include Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, Godzilla: Unleased, and Charm Girls Club: Pajama Party.  If those are any indication on what to expect on Wednesday, we’re in for a treat.

Deadliest Warrior: The Game is based on Spike TV’s Deadliest Warrior which depicts histories most ruthless killers against each other in a battle to the death.  This game will feature customizable warriors, unlockable weapons/environments, plenty of blood, and online tournaments.  It will take 800 MS Points out of your wallet, but it looks like a pretty good bargain.

DeathSpank – 1200 MS Points ($15)
