Fantasic Four coming to Pinball FX 2

Zen Studios just announced via their Twitter account that the Fantastic Four would be joining other Marvel Comics tables as the next table for Pinball FX 2. The choice of the fab foursome was made to celebrate 50 years of the Fantastic Four comic series. Marvel.com was kind enough to post a trailer of the new table, which looks, well . . . fantastic. On a related note, Marvel also announced that several of their classic shows will be coming to Netflix soon, so in between getting your high scores there’s always time to watch the 90′s X-Men cartoon. Pinball FX 2 to recieve Sorcerer’s Lair table

Zen Studios confirmed via their twitter account that Sorcerer’s Lair, the upcoming table for the PlayStation 3 game Zen Pinball, will be coming to Pinball FX 2. Responding to a fan inquiry on the table, they stated “It will come to XBLA, likely this summer.” Zen Studios had planned to release the table on the PlayStation Network, but due to the recent outages it was delayed with no release date. Meanwhile Pinball FX 2 recently received the Mars table as downloadable content, released April 20. We’ve posted the Zen Pinball trailer for Sorcerer’s Lair above. While not the same game, both games are powered by the same engine, so what you see there is likely what you’ll get.

Skullgirls gets Castlevania composer

The upcoming Skullgirls looks to be a really interesting take on fighting games and they got a really amazing composer to do the music. Michiru Yamane has composed everything from Snatcher to Sparkster on top of a bunch of Castlevania games, most notably Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (which is on XBLA). This is her first time working with an American company and she was really drawn to the art style and making her own type of jazz music. The above video is a statement about her talking about the experience, be sure to watch all our coverage of Skullgirls here.

Four year old Trials HD prodigy

Now at four years old most of us on the site were still learning how to navigate Mario or Sonic around a 2D game field, and that’s if we could get the controller from our older siblings for more than 30 seconds. This kid apparently has more coordination than we did at that age. He burns through the Mystical Journey Trials HD course in 1:16.
