Original Story: The platformer tie-in to Cartoon Network’s series of the same name, Ben 10 The Rise of Hex is currently free on the Xbox Live Marketplace. We’ve no idea if this an error, tied into the Games with Gold program or just a freebie gifted from Microsoft’s cybernetic heart. Regardless of the circumstances, the title is confirmed free in both the US and UK regions, so why ask questions?

The deal was first spotted over on NeoGAF forums by user tokyostomp, so if you end up snagging the game and its achievements worth 200 Gamerscore, send them some good karma. Ben 10 The Rise of Hex previously retailed for $9.99 and we have no way of knowing whether or not this will last, or for how long. Head on over to the marketplace to grab it before it’s gone.
