Leedmees review (XBLA)

Leedmees was developed and published by Konami. It was released on September 7, 2011 and retails for 800 MSP. A copy of the game was provided for review purposes.

Leedmees is the third game in a string of Xbox Live Arcade releases to utilize the Kinect sensor and given the lack of quality Kinect titles warranting a full release, this looks to be a good move by Microsoft. Developed by Konami, Leedmees is a puzzle game in which you take on the role of a giant who must help tiny creatures called Leedmees on to safety by using your body to form a bridge and avoiding deadly obstacles such as spikes, ghosts and beach balls.

Boom Boom Dance shimmies onto XBLA

The latest addition to the ever growing dancing game genre is heading for XBLA. From the makers of Dance Evolution or Dance Masters (depending on your locale), Boom Boom Dance is yet another Kinect enabled game to hit XBLA. Sharing more in common with Elite Beat Agents than Dance Central, players must hit “ripples” in time with the music and perform “tricks” such as turns and jumps to earn a high score. There is no choreography to learn so it is up to you how you get your groove on. No release date or pricing has been announced yet but producers Komani have already promised to support the game after release with regular DLC music packs. Thanks again goes to @lifelower for the tip.

Moonwalk over the page for some screenshots.
