Saints Row: Money Shot

A spin-off to the successful Saints Row franchise, this game has you play as an assassin and gives you full control over your fired bullets. Let’s just hope this doesn’t end up like the canceled Saints Row: Drive By.

Scarygirl
Developer: TikiGames

Scarygirl based on the graphic novel by Nathan Jurevicius. The titular character is on a quest to find the source of her bad dreams, fighting off enemies with her tentacle arm and the help of her friends. Buyer beware: this may be the scariest game to hit XBLA this year.

Serious Sam: Double D
Developer: Mommy’s Best Games

Serious Sam leaves his first-person roots in this new, original Double D side scroller. This twin-stick shooter is enhanced by the new gun stacking system, allowing you to use up to four guns at the same time. Challenge rooms, secrets, and pile-able corpses only increase the over-the-top action.

Shank 2
Developer: Klei Entertainment

Shank is back, seeking revenge on those who are after his friends and family. Featuring a brand-new story and a co-op survival mode, this sequel promises to be more exciting and action-packed than its already super amazing (and super violent) predecessor.

Shoot Many Robots
Developer: Demiurge Studios

Hillbilly P. Walter Tugnut stocked his RV full of guns and beer, all in preparation of the robot apocalypse. This four-player run-n-gun RPG has players working together to survive, while competing to get the most kills.

The Simpsons Arcade Game
Developer: Konami

The classic arcade game based on the longest-running comedy is finally coming to XBLA. Play as any member of The Simpsons family with up to three friends in this classic beat-em-up.

Sine Mora
Developer: Grasshopper Manufacture

Sine Mora comes from acclaimed developer Suda 51, the maker of No More Heroes. Side-scrolling shoot-em-up gameplay is infused with time manipulation, all presented in beautiful HD graphics make this game one to look out for.

Skullgirls
Developer: Reverge Labs

While it sometimes seems fighters are a dime a dozen, Skullgirls is shockingly unique. Classic six-button gameplay, complete with combos, combine with hand-drawn graphics and an amazing soundtrack. Online play promises to be free of lag and utilizes an anti-infinite combo system to prevent abusive tactics.

Skulls of the Shogun
Developer: Haunted Temple Studios

Originally meant for 2011, an undead Samurai General is seeking revenge from the warrior who betrayed him twice. This game is a turned based strategy game, trying to redefine both the genre and the rules of the afterlife.

Sonic 4 Episode 2

The second episode of Sonic’s return to 2D is finally near! The new adventure will include a new physics engine and the return of classic characters Tails and Metal Sonic.

Sour Patch Kids: World Gone Sour

More than mere advertising, this game has you playing a sour patch kid on an epic quest to get eaten. You’ll have to lead a group of your candy pals to safety across many larger-than-life locations while avoiding other evil candies.

South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge

The South Park gang is leaving tower defense behind in their second XBLA game. Up to four players can play as Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman locally or online in their fight against Scott Tenorman and his army of soulless gingers.

The Splatters

Play as a bunch of gelatinous acrobats as you pull off crazy stunts in this physics-based game. The harder you launch yourself into spikes and walls, the higher score you receive. Thankfully you won’t have to clean up the mess.

Spelunky has you running through caves looking for loot, while testing your reflexes and wits to battle enemies. Every level is randomly generated, so you’ll never play the same thing twice.
