Charlie Murder
Developer: Ska Studios

Not much is actually shown about Charlie Murder, the upcoming game from Dishwasher creators Ska Studios. What we do know however is that it’ll be a brawler starring a fictitious punk band that Charlie Murder fronts. It looks really promising with a unique art style that seems to be everything Ska Studios represents. Look forward to this game when it hits in 2012.

Deep Black Episode 1 & 2
Developer: Biart

When the first trailer was shown for the upcoming Deep Black, it had a lot going for it. The emphasis on underwater action combined with over-the-shoulder third-person shooting looked like a great combination. Recent ratings suggest we’ll be getting this game in two episodes. There might be double the underwater action coming in 2012.

Defenders of Ardania
Developer: Paradox Interactive

Defenders of Ardania is shaping up to be one of the prettiest tower-defense games to come from the genre. You choose from three selectable races and form your defenses against enemies. However, you’ll be able to go on the offensive and take the fight to them in case you want them destroyed. It was supposed to be released in December but we’re looking forward to a 2012 release in the near future.

Diabolical Pitch
Developer: Grasshopper Manufacture

Even while making games with other developers, Grasshopper Manufacture sure know how to utilize Kinect in an interesting way with the upcoming Diabolical Pitch. Using throwing motions, you’ll be throwing baseballs during a crazy carnival with dressed up tiger mascots all over the place. It sounds like a crazy concept but leave it to Suda 51 to make a crazy concept with Microsoft Kinect.

Dust: An Elysian Tail
Developer: Dean Dodrill

3D is nice but sometimes, the most gorgeous looking games are 2D and Dust: An Elysian Tail looks like one of the most gorgeous 2D action RPGs to grace the system. Winner of the 2009 Microsoft Dream.Build.Play contest, it focuses on all demographics with its appeal to children through its animation. It looks like a classic 90’s animated film brought to life with great gameplay systems, be sure to look out for this one in 2012. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Fez
Developer: Polytron

It was sad when by the end of 2011, Fez hadn’t graced the 360 just yet but all is looking up in 2012. Phil Fish’s promising new platformer from Polytron looks to have crazy draw distance moments with rotating worlds, all with an impressive style that’s all his. With a recent ratings post, we might be getting this sooner than we think which we definitely hope for.
